Willkommen bei Rotary!
From Club member & ambassador at large Tatiana Andreeva:
On May 9 I visited Rotary Club Bayreuth-Hermitage, and it was my pleasure to present to German friends-Rotarians our Rotary Club Santa Fe Centro. I learned during the meeting that two German couples, members of the Club, are already visited Santa Fe and New Mexico!
On the photo: Dr. Hans F. Trunzer and myself are exchanging greetings and clubs symbols.
Herzlichen Glückwunsch Tatiana!

Centro, "Carry the Future" fundraiser
Braving the cold weather & snow, our valiant Rotarians from Centro, Del Sur & the Downtown club, volunteers from CFT and the Food Depot had a successful fundraiser last weekend.
In 76+ hours of love for babies in New Mexico and Refugee Camps, we collected for - Carry the Future - $1,471.15. We collected for The Food Depot, Diaper Depot, 103 boxes/packages of diapers which amounts to 5,650 units of diapers!
Thank you to all that participated and donated. And thank you, Claudia, for organizing the event and sending us these lively pictures.

RFE to Egypt
The Rotary Friendship Exchange (RFE) is one of the oldest fellowship programs within Rotary. It is a program that sends Rotarians with/without a spouse/relative/significant other to another district, usually in another country. There, they are hosted in the homes of fellow Rotarians for periods ranging from 3 - 14 days. During that time, they may visit Rotary projects, Rotary Clubs, do some sightseeing, and generally get to know their hosts, their customs and culture, and something of the surrounding area. Then Rotarians from the hosting area come to visit our district, where we do the hosting.
The RFE to Egypt will be from May 1 - 8, 2018, in Cairo. Egypt is an amazing country with an extraordinary history. Current events are dynamic and this would be a convenient way to experience some of that.
For further information contact Donna Peace, District 5520 RFE chair at 505-349-8850
