Pankakes on the Plaza

Rotary Santa Fe Centro is in charge of preparing for FlapJack's arrival by cleaning grills and dusting supplies stored from last year's Pancakes on the Plaza.  We have brand new grills from last year so they will all need a light dusting off and easy scrub down (no baked on pancake batter).  We will be stamping metal i.d.'s in them and cleaning off their beautiful stainless steel stands.  We will dust off the other goods needed and prep for the 4th.

June 1, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 or so p.m. Should take 3-4 hours.

44 Paul Harris awards celebration in Santa Fe

The event was orchestrated by Pat Murray and Annette Vigil-Hayden of the downtown club.

Attendees from our club were Silas Peterson, Mary Robinson, Rhonda Williams, and John Barraclough. Our own honorary member John Barraclough received one from Annette Vigil-Hayden of the downtown club.

The emcee for the event was Allen Macomber, President of the downtown club. Speakers were Andy Smallwood, Rotary International Director, and Mark Glenn, current District 5520 Governor.  Several past district governors were also in attendance.  Mark gave a wonderful fast-moving speech on the history of Rotary and Andy talked about the difference Rotary has made and is continuing to make in the world.  Past DG Henry Pick presented a Distinguished Service Award to Dick Jones, also a past DG.
